When the twin towers collapsed the last thing I thought of was picking up my camera. After the tragedy, people began putting up flags all over Brooklyn. Some places were respectful but some were just odd....
My family and I volunteered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and became puppy sitters. We took care of over 15 puppies being trained to become future guide dogs over a two year period before we eventually raised our own dog, Simon. After 4 months in harness training Simon decided that being a guide dog was not for him. We adopted him and he is now our family pet.
